We are incredibly grateful to the Ohio Arts Council for providing funding for 18 days of Artists in Residence at Spencer Center through the TeachArtsOhio grant. Our students had the opportunity to learn from a Nigerian artist with Bi-Okoto African Drum and Dance, as well as from the renowned local visual artist, Annie Ruth. Throughout January and the first week of February, students engaged in learning and creative activities during art classes under the guidance of these two exceptional artists. A celebration of this enriching experience will take place on Tuesday during an all-school assembly.
